Man charged after two hurt in serious crash on North-east road

A man has been charged after a serious crash on a busy North-east road.

Two men, a 17-year-old and a 27-year-old, were taken to hospital after the collision involving a Vauxhall Corsa car and  blue Toyota Hilux crew cab pick-up on the A947 Turriff to Fyvie road on Thursday, March 9.


Police Scotland said a second 27-year-old man has been charged in connection with the crash and he is expected to appear at Banff Sheriff Court at a later date.

Sergeant Rob Warnock, from the Inverurie Road Policing Unit, said: “We would like to thank the public for assistance provided in relation to the incident.”
