A man has been charged in connection with two alleged robberies at convenience stores in Aberdeen.
The first incident happened at the A&C Smart newsagent and general goods store on King Street on January 23.
Almost £800 was allegedly stolen during the incident.
Bosses of the shop closed for around four hours while police investigated.
The second incident happened at Premier Stores on Union Street at 3.45pm on January 27.
More than £700 was allegedly stolen during the incident.
Nobody was injured in either case.
A Police Scotland spokesman said a 27-year-old man had been charged and was due to appear at
Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Detective Inspector Allen Shaw said: “We are grateful to members of the public who have assisted us while inquiries have been carried out.”
