A man has been charged in connection to an incident in which a boy was allegedly hit by a car at an Aberdeen retail park.
The Evening Express previously reported that a four-year-old boy suffered a broken leg after allegedly being hit by a vehicle at Beach Boulevard retail park on Sunday.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We can confirm that a 47-year-old man has been charged in connection with an alleged offence of failing to report an accident following an incident at Aberdeen Beach at the weekend during which a young boy was injured.
“Officers received a report that a four-year-old had sustained a broken leg following a collision with a vehicle within a car park at Links Road on Sunday.
“A report will now be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
