A man has been charged in connection with a number of break-ins to cars in Aberdeen.
The 11 incidents happened between October 30 and December 3 in the Kittybrewster area, including Elmbank Terrace and Bedford Place.
A 42-year-old man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Detective Constable Jack Saville said: “Police Scotland is committed to tackling car crime and where incidents occur we will use all available means in order to detect those responsible, however the public can help by making their vehicles less attractive to opportunist thieves.
“I would encourage drivers to park their vehicles in well-lit areas where possible. Also, do not leave valuables out on open display and always lock your vehicle when leaving it unattended for any period of time.”
