A man has been caught driving in Aberdeen while nearly five-times the drink-drive limit, according to police.
A vehicle was stopped by officers in the Walker Road area of Torry on Sunday.
A 47-year-old man has been charged with road traffic offences and is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
PC Lewis Edgar said: “It is incredibly disappointing that despite our repeated messaging individuals continue to drive while under the influence of alcohol.
“Our advice continues to remain the same – if you need to drive then do not drink alcohol at all – there really is no safe limit.
“If you have concerns report these to police on 101. In an emergency always dial 999.”
