Man and woman due in court after heroin valued at £4,000 recovered in Aberdeen  

Two people are due to appear in court today after heroin worth around £4,000  was recovered in Aberdeen.

A 30-year-old man from Liverpool and a 20-year-old woman from the North-east are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today following the recovery.

The drugs were recovered following an intelligence-led operation in Northfield yesterday.

Detective Constable Jack Saville said: “We are committed to targeting those who are intent on spreading misery and harm in communities by dealing drugs.

“We rely on communities to report concerns they have to us and police can be contacted on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.”
