A MAN was airlifted to hospital after a two-vehicle smash on an Aberdeenshire road.
The crash between a car and a motor-home happened around 4.40pm on the A97 Huntly to Rhynie at Heugh of Buchan.
The car driver was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with a suspected head or a neck injury.
A Police Scotland spokesman described his injuries as “serious but not life-threatening”.
A man and a woman in the motor-home were taken by road ambulance to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin but their condition was not thought to be serious.
The road was closed until 7pm after yesterday’s crash.
