A man was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following an incident on a north-east road.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the A941 Rothes to Elgin Road north of the Glen of Rothes at 5pm last night.
The incident involved a tandem bicycle and a woman was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin.
It is understood the man suffered facial injuries.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 1657 hours on Thursday May 3 to attend an incident on the Rothes to Elgin Road, north of the Glen of Rothes.
“We dispatched one ambulance and our air ambulance crew to the scene.
“One male patient was transported by air ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and one female patient was transported to Dr Gray’s Hospital.”
