A man who allegedly crashed his mobility scooter into the River Dee while drunk has been charged by police.
The 64-year-old has been charged with culpable and reckless conduct following the alleged incident, which happened in Aberdeen at 6.20pm yesterday.
A total of 11 firefighters, five police officers and paramedics were called to the area near Robert Gordon University’s Gray’s School of Art last night.
The man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following the incident.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
