A man has died today after a house fire in Aberdeen.
Police, fire and paramedics were called to a property on Derbeth Crescent in Sheddocksley on Monday night after reports of a fire within a house.
A 54-year-old was rescued from the house by firefighters and was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, however, he has since passed away.
It came just a month after Victoria Eighteen, 39, died in a blaze on the first floor of a four-storey building in Shapinsay Square – just yards from the latest fatal fire.
A police spokeswoman said: “He died in hospital this morning and his next of kin have been made aware.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal as is standard.”
