A man has appeared in court on charges connected with a drugs recovery worth £170,000.
The court appearance follows the seizure of Class A drugs in the city during a police operation.
Officers carried out a search in the Summerfield Place area on Wednesday afternoon, with crack cocaine and heroin worth a combined six-figure sum recovered.
James Johnston, 51, appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in connection with the matter.
Johnston, whose general address was given in court as Aberdeen, is facing two charges of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
Johnston made no plea during his hearing.
The case against him was committed for further examination, and a Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service spokeswoman said Johnston had been released on bail.
There were no further dates fixed for future court appearances in relation to the matter.
