A 41-year-old man has been charged in connection with an alleged incident in which a £40,000 car was damaged in a north-east town
The BMW 3 Series M-Sport was parked outside Thistle Drive in Portlethen when the incident happened on Monday. Police have thanked members of the public who helped them with their investigation.
It is understood the damage to the vehicle wasn’t spotted until Tuesday morning.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “A 41-year-old man has been charged in relation to an alleged vandalism following a report of damage to the wing mirror of a BMW parked in Portlethen on Monday September 3.”
The spokeswoman added: “We are grateful to the public who assisted with inquiries.”
