A man who assaulted his former partner has been handed a £175 fine.
Pawel Kuzminski, 24, appeared from custody at Aberdeen Sheriff Court and admitted assaulting his former partner on September 3 on the city’s Victoria Road.
He pleaded guilty to pursuing her, seizing her by the body, pulling and pushing her.
He also seized her hair and pulled it, causing her to lose her balance.
Aberdeen Sheriff Court heard the pair were living at separate addresses, and when spoken to by the police, the woman called Kuzminski her ex-partner.
Fiscal Depute Kelly Mitchell said on the date of the offence, the pair had been out “drinking alcohol and socialising with friends”, and were walking in the Victoria Road area when “the accused began an argument with the complainer”.
Defence agent Kevin Longino told the court that Kuzminski, of Girdlestone Place, Aberdeen, had grabbed hold of her hair by “accident”.
