Personal licence holders in Aberdeen have been reminded that the renewal date is getting close.
A personal licence allows a person to authorise the sale of alcohol.
A licence is valid for 10 years, with mandatory refresher training to be undertaken every five years.

Councillor Marie Boulton, convener of Aberdeen’s licensing board, said: “It is essential due to the hundreds of personal licences up for renewal at the end of August 2019 that those licensees submit their renewal applications and refreshed training certificates as soon as possible.
“By doing so the council’s licensing team will have sufficient time to process the applications which will in turn enable the relevant premises can continue to sell alcohol to their customers.
“Failure to do so will mean they cannot.”
