A rallying call has gone out for Dons supporters to create a fans display at the League Cup final.
The Red Army Display group is appealing for volunteers to help them set up the display in Hampden when Aberdeen face Celtic.
Brian Caruana and Matt Coull, who are behind the colour displays, have said they need as many volunteers as possible.
Supporters are needed to set up a display in the stands for when the squad makes its way on to the Hampden pitch on Sunday to face Celtic.
Organisers are keeping plans for the display under wraps but Matt said: “At the moment we have our material for the display arriving on Friday before the game.
“Previously we have had the materials already delivered and pre-rolled.
“I don’t think we’ll ever be able to get bigger than the display at the Scottish Cup final against Celtic, in my opinion.
“At the moment the display we have planned will be a real talker.
“We are awaiting approval from the SFA but we are not expecting any issues with this. It would be a real topic of discussion.”

Fans will be needed the day before the game to help turn Hampden into a sea of red and white.
Matt added: “Previously we’ve had around 50-80 people who have helped us.
“We actually get quite a bit of support from Dons fans in Glasgow who have helped us before.
“It is quite special being at Hampden getting everything ready. Everyone is welcome to help – I think kids would get a real kick out of it.”
To help the Red Army get in the mood for the final, the Evening Express has teamed up with Aberdeen FC to produce thousands of masks to help the Red Army strike fear into Brendan Rodgers’ Hoops.
We want you to send in selfies of you and your pals wearing the masks, and everyone involved in the winning photo selected by us will receive a ticket to the Aberdeen v Livingston match on Tuesday December 11.
Matt has backed the Evening Express campaign and called for fans to get involved.
He said: “Every little helps. We want to see as many people in red and white as possible.
“We definitely want more of that than any green and white.”
Set up for the Red Army display will be at 2pm on Saturday. Any fan who is able to help has been asked to contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Fans will need to e-mail their Dons ID number and a contact number by Thursday lunchtime.
