Police have sent leaflets to residents living in an Aberdeen community in a bid to get more information about a double murder.
Tracy Gabriel, 40, and Keith Taylor, 43, were found dead in a 12th-floor flat in Tillydrone’s Donside Court on Tuesday night.
A second man, named locally as Hugh Gallacher, is believed to have jumped off the balcony.
In a bid to find out more information about the incident, Police Scotland has issued leaflets to nearby residents asking them to come forward if they know anything about what happened in the lead-up to the murders.
Councillor for the area Ross Grant, who also lives in Tillydrone, said: “There were residents who saw the incident happen.”There is a real sense of upset in Tillydrone at the moment.
“The residents in the building will be feeling quite uncomfortable and uneasy at the moment about what went on a few nights ago.
“I have certainly encouraged anyone to get in touch with me privately if they have any issues living in the building.
“If they are struggling to come to terms with what has happened in the building, I’ll guide them to the correct colleagues in the council.
“We need to make people feel they have the right support going forward.
“It will take a lot for them to come to terms with this incident.
“Many of the residents are hardworking people and their homes have been at the centre of this coverage right across the country.”
