Lamb rehomed at Aberdeen’s Pets Corner for Easter

This little lamb has found himself a new home for the Easter school holidays – at an Aberdeen animal attraction.

The unnamed little one has moved to Pets Corner in Hazlehead Park for a couple of weeks, because of tough competition from his twin sister when it came to feeding time.

Staff at the farm where he lives had been concerned he wasn’t eating, and so sent him to Pets Corner where staff will hand-feed him to help build his strength up.

However, as he was born only a few weeks ago, it was agreed his mum and sister could visit along with him.

Aberdeen City Council operational delivery convener Councillor John Wheeler said: “We hope everyone ‘flocks’ to see him while he’s here on his holidays with this mum and sister, and I’m sure there will be lots of youngsters looking out for when the staff are hand-feeding him.

Pets Corner boasts a wide range of different animals on show, including meerkats, alpacas and miniature donkeys.

The centre is open from 10am to 3.15pm on Saturday, and 10am to 5.30pm, from April to September.
