Comedian Kevin Bridges has added two more Aberdeen dates to his tour after tickets sold out this morning.
The acclaimed Scottish comedian has added two extra dates – December 17 and 18 – to his Brand New tour at the AECC after tickets sold out for December 15 and 16.
Speaking of his new tour, the funnyman said: “It’s been three years since my last tour, three tough years of watching the world fall apart thus, I’ve decided, I need to get out of the house more and lend a hand in saving it.
“With amusing anecdotes and witty observations, I’m sure I can save the world – or at least provide a decent enough night out. We’ll see. I’ll catch you there folks. Yaldy”
Louise Stewart, director of sales and marketing for the AECC, said: “Kevin has a legion of fans across the North-east who will be delighted to welcome him back.
“After the success of his nine-day residency at the AECC in 2015, we have no doubt tickets for his December dates will be snapped up.”
Kevin will be in Aberdeen as part of his biggest tour to date, which includes 18 nights at the SSE Hydro in his home city of Glasgow.
The comedian is no stranger to breaking box office records.
When his 2015 tour went on sale it won awards as the fastest selling comedy ticket of the year, going on to sell 500,000 tickets across 145 dates.
His 2012 tour also smashed records with an astonishing 45,000 tickets sold in one day.
Tickets for the new dates will go on sale at noon today.
