A WELL-KNOWN classical singer is set to perform at an Aberdeen venue for a one-off charity event.
Katherine Jenkins is to sing at His Majesty’s Theatre (HMT) on Saturday, February 20 in aid of social care charity Cornerstone.
The event, which is being sponsored by BP, has been organised by the Lord Provost’s Charitable Trust.
Jenkins will be supported by chamber choir Con Anima, who are based in the city.
Cornerstone provides care and support for people of all ages affected by learning or physical disabilities.
The charity also helps autism, dementia and other conditions that require support.
Katherine Jenkins OBE is a multi-award-winning Welsh classical singer.
She has recorded 10 studio albums and has performed for audiences including The Pope, royalty and a number of presidents.
Her latest album, Home Sweet Home, became her seventh to reach number one.
