LEGENDARY musician Jools Holland is set to take to the stage of a North-east music festival.
The renowned pianist and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra have today been announced as the headline act for next year’s Montrose Music Festival.
The performer will take centre stage for an open air performance at MoFest, kicking off the three-day event on Friday, May 27.
Jools said: “I’m excited to be headlining the Montrose Music Festival in May.
“I can’t wait to get on stage and be part of this iconic weekend festival, of which I’ll be one of over a hundred live performances.”
Montrose Music Festival’s chairman David Paton said: “We’re thrilled to have secured Jools Holland as the headline act and to be opening the weekend of live music in Montrose. Jools Holland is a legendary musician and is simply superb live and will entertain music lovers of all ages.”
