The pumpkins have been carved, the cobwebs have been hung and the witches have started stirring their brew – that means it must be time for Halloween at the Bon Accord!
From now until Halloween, kids can enjoy the spooky fun in the centre’s Halloween garden. Suitable for younger children, the garden (located in the lower atrium, just across from Costa) features ball pits, plenty of photo ops (don’t forget to use the hashtag #bonaccordaberdeen when sharing the pics of your wee ones on Instagram) and even a giant pumpkin.
Craig Stevenson, Centre Manager, said: “This is the first time we have had the Halloween garden, but we are sure it will be as popular as our other events, such as our summer beach.
“We are always looking at how we can enhance the visitor experience and the Halloween Garden is something a wee bit different for families out doing their shopping and we can’t wait to welcome them.
“We listen to our shoppers and they tell us they are always looking for ways to keep the children entertained particularly during the holidays and the Halloween activity works to do just that.”
The Bon Accord’s popular Pumpkin Hunt is also back for 2018.
All your kids need to do is find the 10 pumpkins hidden in shop windows around the Bon Accord and St Nicholas mall and complete the special Pumpkin Hunt sheet with all 10 locations (available from the information desk in the upper mall of Bon Accord).
Then once you have all 10, return your form to get a tasty chocolate treat. It’s that easy!
And whether you are hosting a cosy Halloween get together or a ghoulish house party, or looking for costume which will stand out Bon Accord has something to suit all.
