Investigations were set to continue today after a man was taken to hospital following an industrial accident on a city building site.
Emergency services were called to a Stewart Milne site on Charleston Road in Cove at around 8.40am yesterday after a 30-year-old man was injured.
A Health and Safety Executive (HSE) spokeswoman said: “HSE is aware of the incident and making initial inquiries. We cannot comment further at this time.”
John Low, managing director of Stewart Milne Homes, said: “Thankfully, the person involved in this incident has not suffered life-threatening injuries.
“We are currently working closely with his employer, the contractor involved, and the Health & Safety Executive to establish the cause of the incident and to make sure that everyone involved has learned from this.
“We have very strict safety procedures in place on all our developments to prevent incidents and harm to people, to which both our employees and subcontractors must adhere.”
