Staff at an Aberdeen nursery provide a welcoming and nurturing environment for children, inspectors have said.
Monitors from the Care Inspectorate watchdog visited the nursery at Albyn School on Queen’s Road, Aberdeen, on May 25 and have now published their inspection report.
The nursery can look after up to 125 children aged two and three.
Inspectors rated the nursery’s care, support and staffing “good” – the third best of six possible ratings.
“The nursery provided a welcoming and nurturing environment for children and families,” said the report.
It added: “The staff team knew the children and families using the service well. Information was gathered at enrolment to help them get to know children.
“Staff used this to provide activities and resources that would help them to feel nurtured and included.”
One parent told inspectors: “The activities staff do on a daily basis appear well planned and varied, enabling my daughter to learn lots of new skills and supporting her development.”
