Children learn and thrive at a happy Aberdeen nursery, inspectors have said.
Monitors from the Care Inspectorate watchdog visited the nursery at Bramble Brae Primary School on Cummings Park Drive in Northfield on March 14, and have now published their report.
Twenty children aged between three and five attend the nursery on weekdays.
Inspectors rated the nursery “good” for care, management and staffing – the third best of six possible ratings.
“Bramble Brae nursery school is a happy place where children can learn and thrive,” the report said.
It added: “The children told us they were all friends in this nursery. It was a calm and relaxed atmosphere.
“Staff told us that they felt the time spent getting to know children and families was a strength of the service.”
One parent told inspectors: “The fantastic staff are very caring. It’s a great nursery.
“My daughter loves the staff and loves going to nursery.”
