Positive relationships between staff from a north-east nursery and parents helps children, inspectors have said.
Monitors from the Care Inspectorate watchdog visited the Croft Nurseries on Arduthie Road, Stonehaven, on August 16 and have now published their report.
They rated the nursery “very good” for care, support, management and leadership – the second best of six possible ratings.
“Positive relationships and effective communication were established between staff and parents,” said the report.
“This enabled staff to plan and meet children’s individual care needs effectively. The nursery was very well-managed by the management team.
“As a result they retained a stable staff team which meant consistency and security for children.”
One parent told inspectors: “The staff are all excellent.”
