Relationships between staff and children at a school are “positive and supportive”, inspectors have said.
Monitors from the Education Scotland watchdog have carried out an inspection of Logie Durno School, near Inverurie, and have now published their report.
They gave it a “good” rating for raising attainment and achievement – the third best of six possible ratings.
“Relationships at Logie Durno School between staff and children are positive and supportive,” said the report.
“Staff know the children and families very well. The area surrounding the school offers good space for outdoor learning and is well used for play.
“Parents and the community support the school well and children enjoy involvement in the community.
“The school has links with a local cafe and business partners.
“Children make use of the village hall for PE and drama.”
