Children are happy and settled at a North-east nursery, inspectors have said.
Monitors from the Care Inspectorate watchdog visited the children’s day care centre at Westfield Community Resource Hub at Westfield School on Argyll Road,
Fraserburgh, on February 8 and have now published their inspection report.
The nursery can care for up to 15 children aged between six weeks and three years.
Inspectors awarded the nursery a “very good” rating for care and support – the second best of six possible ratings and a “good” rating for management and leadership – the third best rating.
“We observed that children were happy and settled in the nursery,” said the report.
It added: “The high ratio of staff to children meant each child had a high level of responsive support and interaction.
“This meant children were nurtured, included and their developing language supported well.”
One parent told inspectors: “My child has bloomed since being here, they are always excited for nursery.”
