An open day is to be held for young people in the north-east interested in a career within the hospitality industry.
Hosted by Taste of Grampian, A Taste of Hospitality will offer those aged 16 to 25 a flavour of the wide range of career paths within the industry, from marketing and events to whisky, wine and weddings.
Those attending will hear from Peter Walker of Meldrum House, Mark Dalgarno of BrewDog and Jo Robinson of VisitScotland and will get the chance to ask the speakers questions on what it’s like to work in the sector, the career opportunities it presents and potential for future growth.
There will also be an opportunity to gain a two-year apprenticeship with Meldrum House. The event will take place on Wednesday in BrewDog on Castlegate, from 2-4.30pm.
