A DIY store in Aberdeen could reopen tomorrow after being hit by flooding.
B&Q at Garthdee was forced to shut following the floods caused when the River Dee burst its banks.
The weather has also had an impact on the nearby Sainsbury’s store, where shoppers were evacuated last week.
Scott Sharp, divisional north director at B&Q, said: “We can confirm that we have closed our Garthdee Road store due to flooding.
“Our store team are doing an amazing job to reopen the store as soon as we can, and possibly as early as Wednesday.
“The B&Q store at Bridge of Don is open and is only a short distance away for those customers with more immediate needs.”
