A high street giant has confirmed the opening date of their new Aberdeen store.
Marks & Spencer will open in the Bridge of Don Retail Park on December 6 at 10am.
With a 50-seat cafe and bakery as well as a foodhall, shoppers will have the chance to shop in store or use a click and collect service.
It will create 60 permanent jobs and 22 Christmas temporary jobs.
Store Manager Andrew Christie, said: “There has been a huge amount of anticipation in Bridge of Don and the surrounding area ahead of the store opening.
“We will be working hard to ensure we offer fantastic service, putting our customers at the heart of everything we do and making this store a part of the local community in Bridge of Don.
“We can’t wait to welcome our first customers through our doors on the 6th December and hear their feedback on the new Christmas range!”
Last year Standard Life, the owners of the Denmore Road site, submitted plans for a number of units as part of efforts to breathe new life into the shopping area.
Costa, Pets at Home and Home Bargains are also on board. B&Q and Carpet Right will remain at the site.
