Each child that visits will get to meet Santa and his elves, have their photo taken, and receive a gift.
Jamie Smith, fundraising manager for ARCHIE, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming kids from across the north-east as they visit the grotto.
“It’s always a special experience for families when their little ones meet Santa.
“We hope that knowing the money they spend at the grotto will be helping local sick children will make it even more special.”
To mark the launch, Santa visited the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital to meet some of the children the grotto will be raising funds for.
