Voting is under way for the public to choose an Aberdeen shoreline to be cleaned.
Torry Battery beach has been shortlisted as one of 20 coastlines in a competition run by Fairy, Head & Shoulders and Keep Britain Tidy to combat plastic pollution.
They are looking to help clean 10 beaches this summer and are inviting the public to vote for the those they think deserve a makeover.
The public has two weeks to choose the top nine beaches. Those with the most votes will then be cleaned.
Currently in first place on the live leaderboard is Newbiggin Beach in Northumberland, followed by St Annes North Beach in Lancashire.
Placed seventh on the list is Broughty Ferry beach near Dundee which is the only Scottish one currently in the top 10.
Voting will continue until September 11 at bigbeachclean.co.uk and the winner will be announced on September 18.
