Missing Aberdeen man could now be in Edinburgh

A man has been reported missing from his Aberdeen home and police think he might have boarded a train to Edinburgh.

Police said William Luff, 65, has not been seen since 1.05pm yesterday and that there are increasing concerns for his safety.

CCTV cameras spotted Mr Luff boarding a train bound for the capital.

A Police Scotland spokesman has now said that footage leads them to believe Mr Luff could be in Edinburgh or in the
central belt of Scotland.

Officers have released a picture of Mr Luff boarding the train.
Mr Luff is described as 5ft 10in tall, with grey hair and a long grey beard and was wearing a blue jacket and jeans.

He is further described as having a distinctive long greying beard and a pale complexion.

It is also believed William would be wearing a green jacket and blue jeans.
