
In addition to the fireworks display at Aberdeen Beach, several events are due to take place across the North-east this weekend.
SATURDAY
Ballater: Monaltrie Park will host fireworks from 7pm.
Banchory: From 6pm, King George V Park will be the venue for a huge bonfire, fireworks and food stalls.
Banff: Banff Round Table is hosting a fun, family evening of fireworks and a bonfire from 6.30pm at Duff House playing fields.
Edzell: A firework display will be run by the local community at Edzell Muir from 6.45pm.
Elgin: The annual bonfire and fireworks, courtesy of Moray Firth Fireworks, will be held at the Elgin Rotary Club from 6.15pm.
Inverurie: Gates will open at Thainstone from 5.30pm for the bonfire and fireworks event, with the bonfire being lit at 6.30pm and fireworks from 7pm.
Methlick: A bonfire will be held in fields opposite Methlick Wood, 6pm for a 6.30pm start.
Mulben: Bonfire and fireworks at Mains of Mulben, Keith, from 6pm.
Oldmeldrum: The annual community fireworks will take place at the Pleasure Park from 6.30pm. Hot food and refreshments will be available.
Oyne: Fireworks, stovies, pizza and a bar are being hosted at Oyne Village Hall from 6.30pm-11pm.
Premnay: Fireworks and a bonfire will be held opposite the village hall from 6.30pm. Food and refreshments will be available to purchase.
St Combs: A bonfire will be held from 6pm.
Rosehearty: Bonfire and fireworks display at Rosehearty beach from 6.30pm.
SUNDAY
Alford: Alford Scouts will be organising the bonfire and firework display at Grampian Transport Museum with gates opening at 6.30pm.
Cruden Bay: The fireworks display at Mill Park will begin at 6pm alongside hot food, teas and coffees.
Inverbervie: Fireworks display and bonfire from 6pm at the Lower Caravan Park. Soup, hot dogs and hot chocolate will be on sale.
Kemnay: Bonfire and fireworks display at Bogbeth Park from 7pm.
Maud: Fireworks will be held from 6pm with gates at 5.30pm. There will be food available to buy.
Peterhead: The Gadle Braes bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm and fireworks will be set off from a controlled area. Organisers have been working with the police, fire service and Aberdeenshire Council in planning the event and urge attendees to be aware of road restrictions for safety reasons.
Stonehaven: Fireworks and a bonfire will be on display by Stonehaven and District Round Table organisation from 6pm at Mineralwell Park.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11
Aboyne: Fireworks display will be held at Aboyne Green fom 6pm.
Cairnbulg: A bonfire will be displayed from 6.30pm at Cairnbulg Harbour.
Newmachar: The Newmachar Community Fireworks Display Committee will be putting on a fireworks display and bonfire at Charlie Gordon Park from 6.30pm.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12
Tarves: The annual bonfire and fireworks display will take place at the crossroads field from 6.30pm. Food and refreshments served from 6pm.
