Groups helping young people in the north-east are being given the opportunity to benefit from grant funding of up to £10,000.

Funding Scotland’s Aberdeenshire Council’s Opportunities for Young People Grant Funding is now open to provide organisations which benefit young people, such as youth spaces, clubs, drop-ins and activities.

It is aimed at giving youngsters a safe environment in which they can express themselves, have fun and build positive relationships with others.

Most awards will be made up to a maximum of £5,000, however, in exceptional circumstances, an award of up to £10,000 may be agreed.
