Aberdeen stores are teaming up to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the National Health Service.
Asda Dyce and Asda Middleton Park are to host a joint tea party today at the Dyce store while Asda Bridge of Dee and Asda Portlethen will host a joint tea party tomorrow at the Bridge of Dee store.
The NHS Big7Tea is a chance for Aberdonians to celebrate the milestone NHS aniversary.
On Thursday, all stores with a cafe will offer a free cup of tea or coffee to NHS staff or employees by simply showing an NHS ID card.
The stores community champion Jan Craig, from Asda Middleton Park, said: “We are delighted to join in with celebrations as the NHS turns 70.
“The NHS is one of the nation’s most loved institutions and the money raised through the Big7Tea parties will make a real difference to everyone who uses the NHS services.”
Both events will be held from 10.30am-3.30pm and Friends of ANCHOR and Friends of the Special Nursery will be present.
