Staff from a north-east care home are compassionate to residents, inspectors have said.
Monitors from the Care Inspectorate watchdog visited Kynnaird House Care Home on Commerce Street, Fraserburgh, on November 14 and have now published their report.
The home looks after up to 39 people aged over 65, and two under 65.
Inspectors rated it “good” for efforts staff make to support residents’ wellbeing – the third best of six ratings.
“We were delighted to see the service continued to build on the previous practices,” said the report.
It added: “Staff continued to strive to enhance improved outcomes for the residents. There was a compassionate, happy team. It was clear staff knew residents well.
“They were aware of how they like to spend their time and tried hard to make sure the residents remained as independent as possible within the home.”
Inspectors spoke with 10 residents and got “very good feedback” about the food served at the home and how much residents like staying there.
