
HEAVY rain caused disruption across Aberdeen today.
There were reports of flooding at spots around the city, including the beach and around the River Dee.
South College Street in the city centre was partly blocked by the water southbound at around 8.30am.
Police confirmed the road was cleared by around 9.30am.
The Asda car park at the beach also flooded, with people reporting a lot of water on the road by the River Dee at Duthie Park.
Traffic Scotland warned drivers to take care, as there was a lot of surface water on the A90 between Aberdeen and Dundee and the A96 Inverurie to Aberdeen road.
Emergency services say they are on stand-by as another band of more persistent rain is expected to arrive into tomorrow.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain for the region, as well as other parts of Scotland.
Several areas across Aberdeen and the North-east were badly affected by torrential rain and flash floods earlier this month July 7.
Cars on Polmuir Road were left submerged, basements flooded in the Hardgate area and part of Jesmond Drive was closed when a section of the road collapsed.
