More than £60,000 was raised towards a campaign to help an Aberdeen charity build a purpose-built centre for children with disabilities and life-limiting conditions.
Charlie House held its Big Build Ball on Friday at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC), and was attended by more than 350 people.
Guests were welcomed to the venue by fire breathers and stilt walkers from Theatre Modo.
The evening was compered by Alex Fleming and included entertainment from Beacon Rhythmic Gymnasts, the Danz Creations Performance Team and the Big Build choir and house band.
Generous residents from across the north-east have dug deep to support the charity in raising £8 million towards the new centre.

Susan Crighton, director of fundraising for Charlie House, said: “We are exceedingly grateful to our generous guests who attended the ball and were completely immersed in the event from start to finish. The team worked tirelessly to pull together such a spectacular event.
“The north-east public have been so receptive to our plans and long-term vision for Charlie House Specialist Support Centre and that certainly showed.
“All of the profits made at the ball will go directly to the Big Build Appeal and towards our £8m fundraising total for the Charlie House Specialist Support Centre.”
