POLICE today renewed appeals for information about an accident in which a North-east man died.
Barry McRae, 34, of Catterline, near Stonehaven, was hit by a car on the northbound carriageway of the Aberdeen to Dundee A90 road, near Stracathro, around 2.30am on Friday.
Police Scotland have asked anyone who may have seen a black Audi car travelling southbound on the A90 in the hour before the accident to contact them.
It is understood that the Audi A3 travelled from Stonehaven on the A90 before stopping at a lay-by just north of the Brechin junction, near Stracathro, where Mr McRae was struck by another car.
Building firm boss Mr McRae was married with two children.
