FRESH plans outlining the vision for a 1,500-home development are to go on show.
Chap Group has developed plans for 1,500 homes at Park Quarry near Drumoak.
The development could see the quarry transformed from a brownfield site in the heart of Deeside, into a vibrant community.
Developer Chap Group first outlined plans for the site in 2011 and, following a public consultation at the time, the firm has spent the last four years drawing up more detailed proposals.
Douglas Thomson, joint managing director of Chap Group, said the company has taken on board feedback.
As well as more than 1,000 homes, the plans now include a village centre and community hub to accommodate community facilities including a school, sports hall, library, community rooms and health centre.
There are also plans for around 500 affordable houses and a new business park.
The fresh plans are set to go on display later this month.
Members of the public will be able to view the proposals at Drumoak Church Hall on Wednesday, June 24.
The consultation will run between 4pm and 8pm.
