Four people have been injured and one woman cut free from a vehicle in a two-car RTC on a north-east road.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 4.30pm, where two people are receiving treatment from the ambulance service and another two are described as “walking wounded” by a police spokeswoman.
The spokeswoman also confirmed there were “no serious injuries”.
As a result of the smash, on the B977 one mile east of the Raemoir House Hotel, the road has been closed in both directions by Police Scotland.
An appliance from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene to free the trapped woman from her car.
