Three women and one man are due in court after clothing worth thousands of pounds was stolen in Aberdeen city centre.
Police were alerted to the suspicious activity by security guards, with four people subsequently traced in a vehicle on the A90 near Laurencekirk.
Three women, aged 57, 56 and 47, and a 44-year-old man, all from Glasgow were arrested and charged in relation to theft by shoplifting.
They are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Items worth more than £10,000 have been recovered.
