Four drivers have been charged in relation to speeding offences after a police operation in the north-east.
Police said they also seized a number of vehicles during a seven-day operation in Formartine, Ellon and Potterton, which ended on Sunday.
Four people were charged with speeding offences after officers caught vehicles travelling at up to 54mph in a 40mph zone.
Three were given on-the-spot fines and one will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
Seven people were also stopped for allegedly driving without insurance.
Sergeant Scott McKay, of the Formartine Community Policing Team, said: “It is both concerning and disappointing so many individuals were stopped in connection with these offences.
“There is no excuse for driving without insurance and anyone caught will be targeted and their vehicle seized.
“These drivers put themselves and others at serious risk and in the case of a collision may leave those involved ‘out of pocket’ financially.”
