Planning permission to change a former north-east store into a consultancy firm has been approved.
Proposals for the site at 9 St Andrew Street were submitted by PRD Architecture on behalf of Crown Park Consultants Ltd.
The site was previously occupied by vintage fashion retailer Retrospect, which closed earlier this year.
It involved turning the vacant former store into a class two – financial and other services space – which will allow the business management consultant to move in.
Under the plans, alterations will also be made to the shop front.

Daniel Lewis, development management manager, said: “The proposal would see the sympathetic adaptation of a vacant property for a use which is deemed appropriate within the context of the surrounding area.
“The proposed replacement shopfront is of a suitably high-quality design, with adequate positive visual impact on the street frontage.”
There was no conditions given for the firm to meet before work can go ahead.
