Five men in court charged over two separate drug recoveries in North-east

Five men have appeared in court charged in connection with two separate drug seizures worth thousands of pounds.

It follows a recovery of heroin and crack cocaine in the Spital area of Aberdeen worth around £7,000 on Wednesday.

And officers found cannabis with a value of around £19,000 after a van was stopped on the A90 just south of Stonehaven on Tuesday.

Ross Ableson, 36, of Aberdeen, Everald Lottry, 49, of London, and Dominc Phillips, 21, of Aylesbury, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court charged over the crack cocaine and heroin recovery.

They are facing two charges of being concerned in the supply of drugs, made no plea and were released on bail.

Michael McIntosh, 30, of Aberdeen, and a 17-year-old male, who can’t be named for legal reasons, faced a charge of being concerned in the supply of drugs when they appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in relation to the cannabis seizure on the A90.

The pair made no plea and were released on bail.
