Plans to spend more than half a million fitting out a unit at Marischal Square have been submitted to the city council.
Mitchells & Butlers PLC, who own All Bar One, are looking to spend £530,000 for a full fit out of interior including partitions, plumbing and all mechanical and electrical services at the location.
Last year the drinks and restaurant chain announced it was to open a bar in the Marischal Square development, agreeing a deal to establish its first presence in the city.
It will be the chain’s fourth Scottish outlet, with two already in Edinburgh, and one in Glasgow.
In March the Evening Express revealed music will not be allowed outside the venue, after All Bar One sought a licence for an outdoor area at the venue and for a drinks licence from 10am until 1am.
Members of Aberdeen Licensing Board unanimously approved the application but said music should not be played in the outdoor area.
Marischal Square is expected to open in the autumn, with offices and a hotel taking shape on the site of the former council headquarters.
