An Aberdeen bus operator has announced the return of a special late night service for students during the spring exams period.
First Aberdeen will operate the overnight service U1 from tomorrow to May 19 and will provide a link from Robert Gordon University to Aberdeen city centre and King Street.
The operator has responded to the university’s request for additional provision for students, many of whom will be using the university’s library, which will be open overnight during the exams period.
The service was originally piloted during winter exams in January.
Daniel Laird, First Aberdeen commercial manager, said: “We’re very pleased to be operating this service again following discussions with Robert Gordon University and student representatives.
“With university facilities available overnight, we want to ensure students have a convenient option for getting to and from the university at all times during the exams period.”
