Fire crews were called after a blaze broke out in Aberdeen city centre.

Two appliances raced to a property on Hutcheon Street at around 6pm yesterday after the fire was reported.

Nobody was injured, and crews quickly brought the flames under control.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We were in attendance at a property on Hutcheon Street in Aberdeen.

“There was a small fire within the premises.

“We used one hose reel jet and a ventilated fan.

“The call came in just before 6pm and the stop message was received at 6.30pm.”
