
Two people are understood to have been treated for smoke inhalation following a fire at a farm house.
Three appliances from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, two from Peterhead and one from Fraserburgh, were called to the property in St Fergus, near Peterhead, at around 8.30pm yesterday.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said there were two casualties as a result of the fire, but was unable to confirm the extent of their injuries.
She said they did not have to be rescued by firefighters.
It’s understood they were treated at the scene by paramedics for smoke inhalation.
The fire was brought under control by 9.15pm.
